This Week’s Sports Predictions: April 22 – April 28, 2024

This week, Mars gets all warm and fuzzy, thanks to Neptune—the planet of magic and illusion—joining the party. The distorted, undulating frequency generated by this conjunction throws a spanner in the works, where confusion reigns, and what you see is definitely not what you get. Yet this mirage can work wonders—both on and off the field—on the condition that you hold on tight to your dreams and plot a steady course of action. Stay focussed and victory is all but guaranteed.

We kick off this week’s predictions on Sunday at noon with a minor league football game between DC Defenders and St. Louis Battlehawks. Here, the Sagittarius moon throws caution to the wind as both teams battle it out for supremacy. Then, on Sunday afternoon, baseball teams San Francisco Giants and Pittsburgh Pirates shape up under the influence of the waning Sagittarius moon for a mammoth clash of wills. Finally, baseball teams Atlanta Braves and Cleveland Guardians go head-to-head under the auspices of the restless Jupiterian moon for a thrilling fight for survival where anything and everything goes.

Sunday 28^th April @ 12:00 pm – Washington, DC

On Sunday at noon at Audi Field, the DC Defenders invite the St. Louis Battlehawks onto their field. With the waning Sagittarius moon flying beneath the radar, this will be a colossal test of endurance, especially with the Battlehawks’ star quarterback, Leo sun A.J. McCarron and his Aldebaran-flavored Taurus Mars on an unstoppable rampage. But it appears that it will be the Defenders’ killer quarterback, Scorpio sun Jordan Ta’amu and his sizzling Aries moon overseeing the action, who will use his skill and determination to take out the opposition with precision. DC Defenders to win.

San Francisco Giants -v- Pittsburgh Pirates

Sunday 28^th April @ 1:05 pm – San Francisco, California

On Sunday afternoon at Oracle Park, the San Francisco Giants welcome the Pittsburgh Pirates onto their turf. With the Sagittarius moon feeling lucky, this will be one for the books, especially with the Pirates’ tricky first baseman, Cancer sun Connor Joe and his slippery Pisces moon hiding in the shadows. However, it appears that it will be the Giants’ versatile left fielder, Gemini Mars Michael Conforto and his unpredictable Aquarius sun, who will throw more than a spanner to deliver an exhilarating finale. San Francisco Giants to win.

Atlanta Braves -v- Cleveland Guardians

Sunday 28^th April @ 1:35 pm – Atlanta, Georgia

On Sunday afternoon at Truist Park, home team Atlanta Braves invite the Cleveland Guardians onto their ballpark. With the waning Sagittarius moon chafing at the bit, this will be a fast-paced and unruly game, especially with the Guardians’ show-pony left-fielder, Leo sun Steven Kwan and his poker-faced, hard-working Libra Mars playing hard-to-get. But it appears that it will be the Braves’ multi-talented short-stop, Sirius-infused Gemini moon Orlando Arcia and his super-sensitive Cancer sun hiding in the ether, who will be the one to take hold of proceedings for a dramatic hometown showdown. Atlanta Braves to win.
